Brent stated that RAM was important and recommended using Crucial 8GB Single DDR4 2133 Memory and we went with his suggestion. We switched from spinning disk to a KingSpec 64GB mSATA in our production deployment. This requires chipsets that support AES-NI and even though pfSense 2.4 isn’t out yet we at Hackmethod always like to future proof as much as possible. There's some kind of copy prevention feature to stop doing more that one installation (Long shot) There's a different ISO to use for the Protectliģ. There's an install parameter I might be able to use - the ISO installs on its own with only a Y/N Qu at the startĢ. Ive sent a note to Protectli also and I was wondering if:ġ. Same result - install appears to work but get the ".Insert boot media." results. I then re downloaded the Sofos ISO and using Rufus and reboot again. I installed Ubunto - it worked without a hitch - and great network download speed etc So I opened it up - all looks good inside However I could get the device to connect to my network (user problem) so I decided the start again and reinstall.Īll subsequent attempts appear to work - including Greensleaves playing - but the reboot hangs with the message "Reboot and Select Proper Boot Device or Insert Boot Media."
